Founded in 2006 by fitness expert and physiotherapist Patricia Slapp, Bordoni Sport was born from a simple belief: what you wear can change how you feel – and how you feel will impact your motivation and movement.

Patricia’s passion for movement started early. A champion gymnast in her youth, she went on to build a successful career in the fitness industry. After relocating to London, she was selected as a UK National Trainer and Presenter for global fitness brand Les Mills – a highly coveted role that she held for 12 years before returning to Australia.

But fashion and fitness had always gone hand in hand for Patricia. As a teenager, she designed and made her own clothes and leotards, determined to stand out from the crowd. Her love of sewing was inspired by her Italian Nonna, the inspirational woman after whom the brand is named.

That same spirit is at the heart of Bordoni Sport today.

After many years working in fitness, Patricia recently added another dimension to her expertise, retraining as a physiotherapist. This deeper understanding of the body and how people move has naturally become part of her design philosophy.

Combined with her background in competitive sport, fitness and her studies at the prestigious London College of Fashion, Patricia brings a unique perspective to every Bordoni Sport collection. Designs are created with the female body in mind, combining flattering silhouettes, luxurious fabrics, bold colour and distinctive details. They’re made to last, withstanding any workout in a signature style that will turn heads – whether you’re teaching a class, training at the gym or simply embracing an active lifestyle.

We deliberately keep our collections limited edition, producing small quantities in each style. It means Bordoni Sport feels personal rather than mass-produced – and gives you the opportunity to wear something a little different to everyone else. We source premium fabrics from around the world, selecting them for their quality, durability, comfort and performance. Alongside our own collections, we also curate a selection of inspiring international activewear brands that share our passion for style and movement. Our garments are ethically manufactured in the UK, Fiji and Australia, because looking good should never come at the expense of people or the planet.
