Created back in 2006 to help fitness instructors look fabulously fashionable while working up a sweat, Bordoni Sport is the creation of fitness expert Patricia Slapp. A champion gymnast in her youth, working in fitness was a natural progression.  Shortly after relocating to London, Patricia was selected to be a UK National Trainer/Presenter for global fitness brand Les Mills, a highly coveted role that she held for 12 years until her return to Australia. More recently, Patricia has returned to full time study and in 2024 will complete her studies to become a Physiotherapist.

As a teenager, Patricia would create her own competition leotards to make sure that she’d stand out from her competitors in more ways than one, having been taught to sew by her Italian grandmother. Naming the brand after the inspirational woman that taught her everything she knows, Bordoni Sport was created to give women the motivation and confidence to try a new sport or fitness activity.

“It’s not a materialist thing – the clothing you wear can influence how you feel and even your behavior. After all – I’m a fitness professional and will soon be a Physiotherapist, my job is to inspire and help people to move and lead healthy lifestyles. This goes hand in hand with my design ethos.”

Using luxurious fabrics that have been sourced from around the world, Patricia knows what women need from their fitness wear to help them truly sparkle. Fabrics need to be hard-wearing and durable and the end product needs to make you feel a million bucks. Bordoni Sport definitely delivers in that department!

Patricia, a graduate of the prestigious London College of Fashion, creates collections that compliment the female body, drawing the eye away from the bits you don’t want anyone to see, using eye-popping colours and super cute designs that are guaranteed to get you noticed for all the right reasons. Complimenting the Bordoni Sport collections are a carefully curated selection of international brands of activewear.

Each Bordoni Sport collection is limited edition, with only a small number of each style made to ensure that you’re investing in a piece of clothing that only a select few fashionistas will be wearing. Garments are ethically manufactured in the UK, Australia and Fiji.

Bordoni Sport is made to sweat in, not made in sweatshop.
